Chris Baines
Goal Keeper
One of the founder members of the Nippers team Chris joins Ian Snook and Dave Burgess as the only three left playing for the team since its incarnation. A good “last man” defender whose best work is holding the opposing attackers up so that other players can join the defensive line to stop opposing attacks. Rarely dives in on tackles which makes it so hard for opposing attackers to get past him. He is a good leader on the pitch and always tries vocally to get the team going.

Ian Snook
Defender
As a founder member of the Little Nippers Ian has saw the teams disappointing times and is now enjoying this period of success. During this period he has also progressed and has been a key part of the Nippers progression. A defensive midfielder by trade he offers the team good support in defence and can lend a hand in attack when it’s needed. A strong tackler who plays the game best doing the simple but necessary things.

Gary Baines
Defender
Apart from Chris and Ian and Dave who have been with the team from the start, Gary is another Nippers player that has been with the team a fair while. Gary is an all round midfield player who offers the team flexibility whether it could be in attack or defence when he is on the field of play. He is a good tackler and passer of the ball and has a good range of shooting in his repertoire as he scores goals from all over the pitch.

Matt Harding
Midfielder
Matt is the last line of defence for the team and arguably the most influential player on the pitch. Matt has established himself as the first choice goalie with ease and is one of the team’s most consistent players. He has tightened up the defence and they have achieved many wins and several clean sheets with him on the team.

Mark Watts
Midfielder
A recent signing for the Nippers but Mark has established himself as an integral part of the Nippers team. A good box to box player who always closes down the opposition and gets tackles in so that the opposing team never gets a second on the ball to dwell. A good all round player for the team and this season added goals to his game which has really helped in the team so that they don’t rely on the attacking pair solely for inspiration.

Sam Bennett
Forward
Sam Bennett is one of the original players from the team when it started in 2004. However he took a year and a half break to rest and focus on other ambitions. But Sam is now back bigger, better and more focused then ever and looks forward to re-uniting with his old striking partner Dave Burgess and get goals again.

Dave Burgess
Forward
The main goal threat for the Nippers, Dave has good control and technique on and around the ball. Dave can score goals that the rest of the team just can’t. He tracks back well and always puts tackles in for the team. He is growing in confidence with a settled team around him and is being more vocal around the pitch which can only help the team.
